Description
Dead Horse Ranch State Park is a great place to visit for a day of hiking or picnicking. The park has a number of trails that wind through the desert landscape, and visitors can also enjoy fishing and canoeing in the Verde River. There is a small fee to enter the park, but this helps to cover the cost of maintaining the trails and other facilities. Rates are as follows: per vehicle (1-4 adults): $7.00, individual/bicycle: $3.00. Children under the age of 14 are free.
