Ho‘omaluhia Botanical Garden, located in Kāne‘ohe on O‘ahu’s windward side, is a 400-acre oasis showcasing tropical plants from around the globe. Established in 1982 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the garden was designed as a flood control project and has since become a serene retreat for visitors.
