Description
In the northwest of Kauai, at the foot of the Kalalau Valley, lies a beach known as Kalalau Beach. It is where the Kalalau Trail, one of the toughest routes on the Hawaiian Islands, ends. The beach is about a mile long, and trails wind into the remaining valley, where there are rumors of people living in hiding. A permission is required for camping. There must be no rubbish left behind. The beach is lovely and remote.
