Keahua Arboretum

This is a great location for picnicking, hiking, and simply cooling off after a tiring day at the beach for local families and tourists. There are t wo short pathways that take tourists around the entire park. For information, see the AllTrails link.

This is also where you can begin the The 1.5-mile section of the Na Ala Hele Trail System's Kuilau Ridge Trail, which will eventually develop into the Moalepe Trail. This short climb offers stunning views of Mount Waialeale and the heart of Kauai while passing through eucalyptus forest, native shrubs, and dangling vines.
