Kuhio Beach Park Hula Show

The Kuhio Beach Hula Show is a cherished tradition in Waikīkī, offering visitors an authentic Hawaiian cultural experience. Held at the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, this free outdoor event features traditional Hawaiian music and hula performances by esteemed hālau hula (dance troupes) and Hawaiian artists.

Show Details:

  • Schedule: Tuesdays and Saturdays, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (6:00 PM to 7:00 PM during November to January), weather permitting.
  • Location: Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, on the ocean side of Kalakaua Avenue, near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, diagonally across from the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa.
  • Admission: Free and open to the public.

What to Expect:

  • Opening Ceremony: The show begins with the traditional blowing of the conch shell (pu kani), signaling the start of the performance.
  • Performances: Enjoy a variety of hula dances accompanied by live Hawaiian music, offering insights into the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii.
