Description
This is truly a truly fantastic, 3.8-mile moderately difficult hike on South Mountain. It begins with a fairly steep elevation gain of about 800 feet then flattens out to enjoy the loop between Fat Man's Pass and the Hidden Valley Trail. This trail provides amazing views of Downtown Tempe & Phoenix. This is one of those hikes locals bring their friends to guarantee they leave impressed.
Tips
The trail is usually heavily trafficked but there is typically street parking available close to the trailhead.
