Known as the most majestic fall on the island, the Weeping Wall is a cluster of magnificent waterfalls that cascade down the tall, lush cliffs of Mount Waialeale, one of the wettest places on earth, deep within Kauai. The most well-liked method of visiting the waterfalls on Kauai is via taking a helicopter tour. A more challenging three-mile climb into the Blue Hole, a deep canyon at the base of the Weeping Wall on the mountain's eastern slopes, is an option for more experienced travelers.
Getting to the trailhead requires a 4x4 vehicle. The hike to the falls is manageable but technical. It is about 5 miles and will take about 3 hours to complete. It is recommended to use a guide for this hike.
