What it's about
Oracle State Park, located in southern Arizona, is a 4,000-acre wildlife refuge and environmental education center. The park features a variety of habitats, including oak woodlands, riparian areas, and desert grasslands. Visitors can explore over 15 miles of trails, offering opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife observation. The park is also home to the historic Kannally Ranch House, which offers tours and exhibits on the area’s history. Oracle State Park is designated as an International Dark Sky Park, making it an excellent location for stargazing and night sky programs.
