Pacheta Falls

Pacheta Falls is an awe-inspiring 131-foot natural wonder located in the White Mountains region of Arizona. Nestled deep within the reservation of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, this stunning waterfall attracts hikers from all over the country who are eager to explore its rugged beauty. Before venturing out to Pacheta Falls, it is important to obtain a special permit from the tribe that allows you to drive on their land. Once you arrive at the falls, you will be treated to breathtaking views and a powerful rushing sound. Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for a scenic picnic spot, Pacheta Falls is well worth exploring.

There are multiple ways to get to the falls:

1. The first way is to drive to the falls.  This way is only recommended if you have a high clearance 4x4 vehicle.  Park your car here 33°40'11.9"N 109°31'27.8"W and it is only a short hike to the falls. This is the way that Jerry Arizona navagates to the falls in the YouTube video.
2. The second approach includes a bit more of a hike. 33°40'50.6"N 109°31'45.5"W This is approach starts where the creek crosses the road upstream.  This leaves you with a hike that is about 1.25 - 1.5 miles long and crosses the creek multiple times (be prepared to get your feed wet.
3. The third approach is to come from down stream from rattlesnake point. 33°39'60.0"N 109°30'47.7"W This way does require a 4x4 vehicle and a 1.5 mile hike.  Again, be prepared to get your feet wet.
