What it's about

Waimea Falls, located in Waimea Valley on Oahu’s North Shore, is a stunning 45-foot waterfall set amidst a lush botanical garden. The valley is home to over 5,000 plant species, creating a vibrant and tropical environment for visitors. The falls are accessible via a 1.9-mile paved trail, which is suitable for all ages and leads directly to the waterfall. At the base of the falls, visitors can swim in the natural pool, with life jackets provided free of charge for safety.

Admission fees are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (62+), $20 for students, and $15 for children aged 4-12. Kamaʻāina and military personnel enjoy free admission every Thursday afternoon with valid ID. Waimea Falls is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is closed on Mondays and certain holidays.

The valley also offers various cultural programs and educational experiences, where visitors can learn about Hawaiian traditions. On-site amenities include restrooms, changing rooms, a snack bar, coffee shop, and a gift shop
