Waipo'o Falls

Kauai's Waipo'o Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls on the Island. You can see this waterfall from two lookouts along Waimea Canyon road:

[1] Waimea canyon overlook a little past mile marker 10 & [2] Puu Ka Pele lookoutpast mile marker 13.

Or you can get up close and personal and hike the moderate 3.0 mile out and back trail to the falls.

The waterfall plunges into a pool of water, and it is surrounded by lush green vegetation. Visitors can swim in the pool at the base of the falls, and there are also several lookout points where you can take in the stunning views.
